I, too, am working with an older gentleman who has Dyslexia and also  
suffered a head injury.  He is quite fascinating!  He does hold a high  school 
diploma, but never learned how to read.  I am using the Wilson  Reading System with 
him and he is doing quite well!  We have only met 8  times and he has done 
more in those 8 meetings than some of my other students  have done in a year!  I 
am also reading The Gift of  Dyslexia written by Ron Davis to him. It provides 
a good  understanding of Dyslexia and some techniques to overcome it.
