[AAACE-NLA] More thoughts on How Adult Literacy Advocacy Can Succeed

"Life-long learning" doesn't make it for me because ever since I first heard 
it I wondered what on earth it meant.   It sounds like life-long schooling, 
and I get tired just thinking of that.   Sorry if I'm offending with this 
comment.

Having some institutional permanency within each state is 
excellent--transcends the economic and political trends. 

I'm thinking of "People for the American Way,"   (Have I got that right?) I 
remember when it started and I went to school with one of the guys   who 
started it.   I'd like to see some of that language made into a slogan/rubric that 
works for us.   Adult Literacy--the American Way (?)
