I read on Saturday from the Post that 20% of Americans rely on social security ONLY when they stop working.  So...if that is cut down, the family or the states have another burden.  All this is very draconian--literacy cuts, housing cuts, social security cuts.  And AARP, which is against the social security changes, is about to be atacked by the same group that supported the Swift Boat Veterans.(NYTimes, today)  I found the email for AARP and eamiled  them to stand firm.  

Back to the stone age.
