Why don't you get in touch with Erik Jacobson who was one of the researchers on the Purcell-Gates/Degener/Jacobson/Soler NCSALL study that included the words of the learners themselves. Erik will know the criteria for selection, and may well be able to help you set-up a practitioner research study.
