[AAACE-NLA] Question About Secretary of Education

All I know is what I read in our local paper, but I don't think she is or
has been a professional educator, nor has held public office.  She had been
serving as a political advisor and lobbyist in Texas and then a domestic
policy advisor to GW Bush. Her interest and "background" in education has
been with School Improvement Councils and parental involvement programs.
