HOUSE AND SENATE CONFEREES UPDATE

House and Senate Conferees on the 9/11 recommendations legislation met
today, but the meeting was inconclusive.  They will meet again tomorrow, and
we will keep you posted with what we know.

Today, the leaders of the 9/11 Commission released another letter asking
Congress to drop the controversial immigration provisions that were in the
House bill but not recommended by the Commission.  See below for highlights
