David and others,

I think it would be a good idea for people--us--to get  to know these people.  For example, Carolyn (ine?) Hoxby  works here in Cambridge, I got her CV off  the web.  She knows a lot about school finance. ( I am just using her as an example.)

Wouldn't it be a good idea for MA people to get together with her?  Do some homework about what she has written, set up a meeting, introduce them/ourselves?  Maybe Adult Lit people in other states could do the same.  If our new leaders--reps, in a way--don't know us maybe we could make this the opportunity for introductions.

Better to collaborate and educate than shoot from the hip.
