[AAACE-NLA] Modernization, globalization and climate change

Folks--

All these are linked in an article in the July 5, 2004 issue of   "The New 
Yorker:"   "Letter from India."

So what do we need to do?

Well, a brief list would include educating everyone through high school, 
educating engineers, all kinds, educating climate scientists (there must be a 
better word) and strengthening the family. We also need a crash program of syn 
fuel reseaerch.   If hope others read the article--what else should go on the   
list?
