I really found Dave Rosen's   comments  to be an eye-opener for me.  Here 
Louisiana there is a push for evidenced based ideology being applied to  
adult literacy.  I have concerns about  the direction
we may be headed.  I'm a novice in the discussion of the pros and con of 
evidence-based principles
and  its applications  to adult literacy. I would appreciate  any info from 
list members who can assist
me in understanding the issues surrounding the "evidence- based push"
