[AAACE-NLA] Action: Massachusetts Coalition for Adult Education

Colleagues:
I have some great news!  The Massachusetts Coalition for Adult Education (MCAE), a statewide organization of over a thousand professional educators and adult learners in Massachusetts, now officially endorses the national Save NIFL campaign initiative.  MCAE will be asking its members very soon to encourage Congress to preserve NIFL's focus on adults and families by asking legislators to support the Senate version of WIA Title II reauthorization, specifically regarding the National Institute for Literacy.
 
A big thanks to the MCAE Executive Board for their work in this endeavor.  We look forward to hearing from Massachusetts practitioners *and* adult learners as they make their legislative contacts.  Please keep us updated as to your progress! savenifl at yahoo.com
