[AAACE-NLA] advocacy through moveon.org

Hello Rose, and others,

Because the voting at the Moveon American Vision Web site is ongoing
and dynamic it changes the priority of the goals all the time.
Yesterday at one point it was 10, then 29. Today I couldn't find it it
was so low in priority (sigh.) My goal focused on adult literacy --
literacy for all. The goals that seem to stay at the top of the list
of hundreds of goals -- what people are voting for --are broader.
The lesson, for me at least, is that to get the support we need, we
have to have a broader education goal focusing on adults -- one which
specifically includes literacy, English language, workforce
development, family literacy, community education and lifelong
learning. If someone wants to post that goal, let us know so we can
quick go vote for it!
