Colleagues:
I have some good news to share with you!  The National Alliance of Urban Literacy Coalitions (NAULC) is in the process of endorsing the Save NIFL campaign, adding their voice to ours in working to preserve NIFL's focus on adults and families. The NAULC is an organization of over 60 state, urban and rural coalitions, representing  3,600 literacy service providers serving 2. 5 million learners nationwide.
 
I look forward to hearing more from the NAULC and other state and regional literacy organizations about their ongoing advocacy work to help keep NIFL's focus where it belongs, on adults and families.
 
AAACE-NLA subscribers, have you contacted your legislators yet??  If so, please keep us up to speed with your efforts, by emailing us at savenifl at yahoo.com .  Share any feedback from your legislators (if there are no comments, that is important to know as well).
