In addition to what I wrote before, the US is a member of an international body called the United Nations. This body is suppossed to operate in a democratic format, ie, nations make proposals, they vote on them, and they take action according to the vote. The US, went to this body, with a proposal that was voted down. Instead of abiding by the body, the US took action going against the democratic vote. What kind of model democracy can one expect from the country that speaks of democracy while acting undemocraticaly?

The reason there are ongoing calls for terrorism against the US is because the US has and continues to be responsible for attrocities all over the globe. I am certain that there are people in other countries that would love to engage in terrorist activities against the US. However, they do not have the economic backing that some middle eastern countries do have. The countries that are allies with the US in the middle east are not examples of flourishing democracies. They are countries with overwhelming poverty and no hope for a better life for the vast majority, while a small minority allied with the USA
