[AAACE-NLA] "they" cause confusion and divert attention

Hello,
You say you are relating "facts". So, please, enlighten us, who are "they"?
We would really *all* like to know. Secondly, to which NIFL list do you
refer? And does Head Start fall under the purpose of the list, filtered or
not, moderated or not? If it does fall under the purpose of the list to which
you refer, then by all means, connect the dots for us - I'm certain we would
all like to hear what you have to say - and I mean that. Until then, you
might wish to consider how you sound when you speak of "they". To me, at
least, it comes across as paranoid. To others, I can't say. And to "them",
perhaps only you could speculate.

I regret coming off sounding so harsh, but it bothers me when anyone speaks of
NIFL list subscribers in the way that you have - i.e. "playing" into someone
else's hands. I am hardly unsympathetic to the larger picture that you paint,
but I just would like to see each color painted with real hues that illuminate
a constructive purpose.

Then we will be getting somewhere.

Thoughts?

Jackie

BTW, meaningful discussion is not banned on NIFL lists, and hard working, NIFL
staff are constantly challenged - try subscribing to NIFL-AALPD, for one. And
there are *many* others with meaningful, challenging exchange. Join in.
Contribute. Come play with us.
