Dear Tom, Thanks you for your very comprehensive review of the Shaywitz book. I heard her speak at a conference this spring and her use of imaging studies is revolutionary--graphic evidence of what does not happen in the brain processing of dyslexic readers, and then what can happen through appropriate teaching.
