AAACE-NLA Colleagues,

The NLA Electronic list archives from 1997 - 1993, which were housed on 
NIFL's LINCS Web pages, are now available on the literacytent  -- at 
http://lists.literacytent.org/ -- but, at least for the time-being, in a 
less user-friendly format. Apparently it is complicated and 
time-consuming to transfer them to an easy-to-search format. 
Nevertheless, they are all there, and downloadable as searchable text.

The NIFL staff provided an unexpurgated copy of the NLA archives so that 
they could be housed on the literacytent.

It is my hope that the NLA archives will also soon be restored on NIFL 
LINCS, where NIFL -- and other search engines -- will help users to find 
messages of interest.  But that remains to be seen.
