Subject: [NLA] HR 1261
As far as I understand HR 1261 has left the house and will be brought up
in front of the Senate-maybe in May?
Why aren't we getting guidance NOW in terms of contacting our Senators?
We need to be proactive BEFORE we only have a few days left to make an
impact. Don't we care as a field whether NIFL will exist, whether the
focus will be only on children, whether the focus will only be on
reading????????????? Or have we given up?????? Do others on the list
share the same concerns?????????? Where are all the usual active
voices????????????? And most importantly, where is the guidance?????????
